2025 Christmas at the Fort: Nov. 28 - Dec. 28
Our annual celebration of the holidays with Lights, Music, Holiday Market, Open Doors in the Fort and Lots of JOY.
Take a ride to Historic Fort Steuben and Fort Steuben Park to experience a family-friendly, memory-making, selfie-shooting weekend. Situated in downtown Steubenville, Fort Steuben Park is transformed into a holiday destination dominated by the 30' Christmas tree and a canopy of colored lights and music where artisans are selling their wares and visitors can indulge in sweet treats.

The event begins with Steubenville Lights Up the Night, on November 28 when the Holiday Market opens, musical and dance performances are presented, and the sky is lit with spectacular fireworks.
For the four weekends after Thanksgiving, the Holiday Market will be open and additional events and activities will be offered including trips around the downtown on the Holly Trolley, movies and puppet shows, and live entertainment at the Christmas tree.
Children love the singing trees and displays in Fort Steuben Park where there are many photo opportunities.
Inside the Visitor Center, youngsters can write Letters to Santa and watch the model train chug around the Winter Village. The Holiday Gift Shoppe is open with gifts, decor, souvenirs, books, post cards, puzzles, craft kits, and more.
Raffle tickets for a beautiful Holiday Quilt produced by a local crafter will be for sale as well.

Christmas at the Fort- The Visitor Center is open Monday - Thursday 10am-4pm;
Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm; Sunday 11am-6pm.
These times are in effect for the Christmas at the Fort Event Nov. 28- Dec. 28.
On December 29, our hours return to normal- M-F 10am - 4pm.

The Visitor Center will be closed Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day.
