Nutcracker Village and Advent Market
The Magic Continues!
Join us for the area's most magical holiday celebration - while maintaining all Covid-19 health and safety protocols.

From November 24 to January 9, Fort Steuben Park and the streets and storefronts of Historic Downtown Steubenville will be inhabited by over 150 life size Nutcrackers created by Nelson's of Steubenville depicting local, literary, popular and historical characters - most open for viewing 24/7. For the five weekends following Thanksgiving, vendors will sell their wares from rustic chalets in the Advent Market located around the 30' Christmas Tree in Fort Steuben Park. Food and music will add to the festivities. The unique Nutcrackers and several fairytale figures will stand guard in Fort Steuben Park welcoming visitors young and old under a canopy of colorful lights. The Holiday Gift Shop in the Visitor Center will offer gifts and souvenirs of the Nutcracker Village as well as our usual variety of books, toys, historical maps and old-fashioned gifts. Tours of Historic Fort Steuben will be available on Fridays and Saturdays from 2-8pm and Sundays from 1-6pm for a taste of 18th century life in the Ohio frontier (admission fee $1).

A variety of food and craft vendors will be on site for the 2020 Advent Market - all conforming to current Ohio and Jefferson County Health Department directives.

The Fort Steuben Visitor Center Holiday Gift Shop will be open for guests to shop and will be stocked with Christmas gifts, toys, nutcrackers, nutcracker village memorabilia, books and Christmas décor throughout the season.
